Bio: Linda Furlini, Ph.D., has been involved in the field of research ethics for many years. Currently, as an Ethics Specialist for the Research Review Office at the CIUSSS Centre-ouest-de-l’Île de Montreal (CIUSSS West Central Montreal), she is developing an educational program in research ethics. Well versed in the laws, rules and policies that govern research, her other work entails developing policies and procedures. She has a particular interest in social science and humanities research and holds particular expertise in research methodology, particularly qualitative inquiry. Her academic background includes research on older vulnerable populations and their caregivers.
