Update from the CIHR Standing Committee on Ethics

The Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) have released an update from CIHR’s Standing Committee on Ethics (SCE) detailing the work they have done since March 2016, and plans for 2017. One highlight of the update is the publication of CIHR’s first Ethics Performance Measurement Annual Report 2015-2016, which provides a baseline against which they will be able to measure progress regarding CIHR’s Ethics Action Plan. You are welcomed to disseminate the update through your organizations and invited to forward any suggestions and comments on how to improve CIHR’s performance and/or reporting.(e.g., by email, in conversation with a Member of the SCE, or via the Ethics Office).
