This year our annual conference will be a little different in the following ways: 1. It will be virtual; 2. It will consist of three shorter days; 3. It will aim to reach a wider audience including research ethics board members and administrators, researchers, and research participants. We have modified our registration fee structure to enable equitable access to our conference programming.
  • Non-member's rate - $150
  • Member's rate - $100 (automatically applied upon login)
  • Student's rate - $50
  • Unaffliated* rate - $20 (*The unaffiliated rate applies to an individual that: (1) is not affiliated with an organization for the purposes of conference registration; (2) may be unemployed or underemployed; (3) is or was a research participant; or (4) is a member of the community)
  • Contact us (registration@careb-accer.org) if your institute has more than 20 attendees for a reduced rate.
    • Institutional bulk conference registration purchases will be prorated based on blocks of numbers;
      • 20 to 50 people $100/person
      • Next 51 to 80 people $75/person
      • 81 and over $50/person

This year, the conference will be: virtual; consist of three sequential full program days; aim to reach a wider audience, including research ethics board members and administrators, researchers, research participants, and the broader Canadian community. This year's theme is Raising the Volume on Research Ethics: Moving from Conversation to Collective Impact. To increase engagement this year we will be offering prizes, with draws to be held during the breaks
